Animal-Assisted Therapy can be provided by a social and health care professional who has specialized in this field of therapy.<\/p>\n<p>My therapy dogs Ren\u00e9 and Bardi work with me as my work companions in dog-assisted occupational therapy and dog-assisted psychotherapy. Ren\u00e9 has passed the feasibility test required for this position in 2014 and worked as my therapy dog since he was a puppy. In addition, I have myself studied at Jyv\u00e4skyl\u00e4\u2019s University of Applied Sciences, where I attended the University\u2019s course on Dog-Assisted Education and Rehabilitation in 2015. Even when things are encountered in life for which nothing can be done, one can together understand the situation, share experiences and seek resources for everyday life.
